According to the church history, the building was constructed in 1898 when Lanier Lumber Company donated the lumber for a small white frame church to be built on 1 acre of land. Long ago, kerosene lamps & heating were replaced with electricity, pews and carpet were added over the years. In later years the fellowship hall was added, featuring a kitchen, private offices and classrooms.
